On 18 October, Juan José Agirre will receive a tribute from the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa for his tireless and pioneering work in favour of historical memory and recent memory. The collections held by the Lazkaoko Beneditarren Fundazioa are the result of Agirre's years of work, and he will be recognised for the work he has done to compile them and make them available to society.
The tribute, which has been organised by the Provincial Council in collaboration with Lazkao Town Council and the Benedictine community, will take place in the Benedictine church itself at 18:00. It will be an open event and anyone who wishes to attend will be able to do so.
